About me
I’m an Environmental Scientist with a strong footing in environmental geosciences and real-world experience across both the public and private sectors. I earned my B.S. in Environmental Geosciences from the University at Buffalo, and got my start with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where I worked on large-scale remediation and saw firsthand how policy, engineering, and the land intersect.
From there, I spent several years in NYC environmental consulting, supporting projects for agencies like New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), and the Long Island Railroad (LIRR). I’ve held roles ranging from Geologist to Field Supervisor to Environmental Inspector, building a toolkit that includes site investigation, environmental assessment, hazardous materials management, and on-the-ground regulatory compliance.
Currently, I work in Environmental Health & Safety at Con Edison in New York City, helping ensure the company’s operations meet environmental and safety requirements while pushing toward more sustainable, accountable practices. I’m especially interested in how big urban systems—energy, waste, water, and people—fit together, and how we can make them cleaner and more resilient without losing sight of the human beings inside the system.
At the core, I’m driven by two things: environmental integrity and genuine connection. I like tough problems, messy realities, and projects where good science, clear communication, and a bit of foresight can actually move the needle.
